This punchline could be the same words script writers could use to pitch their new script to big production companies. Well, in my case this is exactly it. 

With a strong presence of over 30 years in the music scene, I’ve been performing in various bands, been signed to EMI/Chrysalis as a popular band’s lead singer and co-composer, and had formed my own personal project until its disband in 2017. 

And because I’m a stubborn one, I’ve been working as a solo artist since then, composing, performing, producing and promoting my music, performing and streaming live in various venues and social media platforms. 

In spite of what many consider to be accustomed to, my style is not unilaterally originated; it introduces as a cut-through all genres, focusing on what I’m good at: performing and writing songs. Ranging from the Beatles and David Bowie, to Madonna, Frank Sinatra, Joe Dassin, Radiohead, Joe Cocker, Muse, Jeff Buckley, Knarles Barkley, Stevie Winwood, U2, the Police, Queen and many others (sometimes unknown to me too!!), the name and persona "John Kampouropoulos" is a versatile artist and a strong performer, a one-man show, a producer, a video maker, and a great story teller.
